The marriage supper between Christ and the Church will take place in the third heaven beyond the clouds

Many believe that the saints will not go to the third heaven after they are raised. They claim that the marriage supper between Christ and the Church will take place in the clouds. It is  also said that they will remain in the atmosphere until Christ returns. Perhaps this view is an overreaction to the false doctrine claiming that people go to heaven as soon as they die. However, the Bible indicates that those who attain the first resurrection will be fully capable of ascending Beyond the Clouds.

There is much more to the subject than most have realized. Conclusions have been made without examining all of the details. John’s vision documented in the book of Revelation depicts the chosen saints in heaven. They will be faultless before God’s throne and have direct contact with the Father. The timing of the first resurrection, and the chronology of the bowl plagues, indicate that there is more than enough time for an extended marriage celebration. All of these factors point to the same thing.  The Bible actually shows us that the chosen saints will go beyond the clouds, to the third heaven, for the glorious marriage supper of the Lamb–between Christ and His Church.
