A Good and Faithful Servant
The purpose of a Christian’s life was summarized by Christ with a simple and yet profound phrase. Those who will be chosen are described as being good and faithful servants (Mat. 25:23). While the instructions sound simple, most do not know what the faithful service is. You need to know what God considers to be “reasonable service” because there are many who consider themselves to be servants of God, but are actually servants of their own desires and sin. This booklet details the good works that true Christians must have. It shows us what Christ expects to see us doing both now and in the future. Faith is key, but it is much more than mere belief. We all contribute to preaching the gospel in several ways. However, not all are called to teach and preach at this time. This material explains how we are to love others as yourself, and what the importance of the the assistance of God’s Holy Spirit is. There is also a work for all of us to do that never ends, and you need to know what that work is because, even though salvation is a gift, the Scriptures tells us it will not be given to everyone. We must qualify for it. This booklet thoroughly explains the qualities and character that we need to have in order to be considered a good and faithful servant.
