History of smoking tobacco in religious practices and a biblical view

This booklet discusses the origins of smoking tobacco, how it was used in some religious practices, how second hand smoke affects others, and a biblical view of this habit. Many wonder if smoking regularly is a sin. While smoking is not specifically mentioned in the Bible, there are principals that can be used to make a righteous judgment (John 7:24). We have also included tangible and effective ways to help addicts to quit smoking. Smoking tobacco on a regular basis causes a person to become enslaved to the habit. It not only affects our health, it affects relationships with God and others.
